Another Movie- Title To Be Determined*

I'm directing a multi-million dollar movie production! Can you believe it!?!?

......I didn't think so. :)

Ok, so maybe it isn't a 'multi-million dollar' production, but it's still a multi-dollar production. Right? ........And yes, I am directing/co-directing it with a good friend- Zane Moore.

So, anyway, that's what we spent our day doing- Working on our war film. It's in World War 2 time period with soldiers and punch-outs and gun fights and all that jazz. :)

The main plot is about a soldier and his comrade who are on a mission to deliver confidential papers across No-man's Land. One is captured by Germans and the other is mortally wounded. The confidential papers fall into enemy hands and it's up to the wounded soldier(with the help of an American squad) to rescue his comrade and recover the papers from an armed German outpost. The commander of this outpost is a vicious interrogator who threatens to destroy the captured soldier's life. Will his comrade arrive in time to save his life????

dun...Dun...DUUUNN! Haha! (hmm...I wonder if that made any sense:)

No romance stuff, though.....Sorry. Haha!!

It's a very fun, educational, and creative project. But I don't want to give too much away because it'll be more of a surprise when you see it.

Here are some pictures of what we did today. Enjoy!

Yup. That's me. :)

Zane. In costume. He's the main character and this is when he comes home after the war. Yup.

And the road he comes home on.

* We were thinking 'No Greater Love' might be a good title because it refers to the verse about greater love has no man that he should lay down his life for a friend.....and we have that verse in the movie....but we're not sure. What do you think? Have any title suggestions?

P.S. I really like the title you're thinking of... it sounds really good! You should stick with it... unless you think of another one... but, I think this one is really awesome!

  2. Hey Aaron! Very exciting.

I had one comment about your title. A friend of mine just finished principle photography on a movie. The title of it is "No Greater Love." Just thought I should tell you. It shouldn't matter with your movie.

    Their website is: http://www.nogreaterlovethemovie.com/

    Good games today...

  3. That looks really cool. I notice that the dog isn't your guy's...that's good or else she would just ruin the shot...now my dog...that's a different story :)

Like the title idea too...in fact I thought of that verse will reading the plot.

Great job...I can't wait to see it!

  4. Kaila: Nope, the dog isn't ours, it's the Moores'.
And you're right; our dog, (or any other decent-looking dog for that matter) would have ruined the shot because there's not supposed to be a dog in the scene. But your dog is a totally different story.....that dog would have made our film into a horror movie or something awful! Haha!! Juuuuuust kidding.

Victoria: We're thinking of changing the title to 'Greater Love Has No One' because 'no greater love' has already been used a lot.

Destiny: You'll probably know almost everyone who's gonna be acting. :) Everyone in it so far is from Speech club. For the big battle scene we're thinking of inviting everyone from speech who wants to come; to help film, set up, do props, costumes or act as German soldiers. It'd be cool if David and your dad could be Germans. Yeah! :D
It's still a ways off, though.

    See you all at speech.
